11x14,4 in ~ Peinture, Stylo gel, Encre, Papier
The artwork “Burning down the Snow” masterfully juxtaposes seemingly contradictory elements. It engages in a captivating interplay between snow and fire, tranquility and expressiveness, as well as concreteness and abstraction. Created using ink and felt-tip pens on photographic paper, this piece invites viewers to contemplate the harmonious coexistence of opposing forces.
It was also featured in a book published in 2022, which includes 31 poems written by Theodor Storm in both German and Chinese. Each poem is accompanied by an illustration by Friedrich Zettl, who also designed the cover.
Mixed media with Western and Indian ink on yupo paper.
Ready to hang! The picture comes matted and in a good quality, modern, attractive frame made of black aluminum and plexiglass. The frame is 3.5 cm deep.
